I think I know what most people are going to say for this one but lets see how many people have different opinions about what they think.

What was your favorite or best limit break in the game? Mine was probably Lionheart overall because of how powerful it was. Squall was hitting at 9999 each hit which was amazing to watch! That limit break came in handy at the final battle. Rinoa's limit breaks were handy as well, especially the ones with Angelo. He saved me from getting killed off a few times which I was grateful for!

I found Irvine's limit breaks to be quite useless so I never used him that much. I have also heard so much about Selphie's 'The End' but have never been able to find it in her list! I don't get why it won't show up at all but oh well. Selphie had a variety of limit breaks which came in handy in the beginning of the game, I barely used her after that lol. Quistis was the same, I hardly ever used her or her limit breaks!

Zell was another good one with his limit breaks. You could get a lot of punches out of the time you got. It was quite effective against most enemies.

Okay, your turn now. Post away! :D

Squall's Lionheart. That's the best Limit Break in the whoe series. Only Ultimecia and Omega Weapon can survive after that.

Rinoa's Whishing Star was great, too. Not as powerful as Lionheart but more powerful than most of the other Limit Breaks.

Quistis' Bad Breath was such a great Limit Break, too. Although it's not that nice to see a pretty woman with a smelly breath :p

To get Selphie's The End, it's rare no matter what, but to increase the odds of getting it, have her HP as low as possible and have her level at 100. It's still incredibly rare, but it's worth it!

And honestly, I liked Irvine's Shot (primarily fast ammo and pulse ammo) a lot. quick damage, you can seriously unload a full 99 shots with fast ammo!

Definitely Squall with "The Lion Heart". Only Ulti and Omega could survive countless hits (29 I think) of pure 9999 power. Yeah!!!

Edited:

Some of my other favorite limits were:

Rough Divide: It saved my life a couple of times when I faced T-Rex at the beginning of the game.

Fated Circle: Ohh this one helped me to kill countless enemies when I faced a group of annoying monsters (catherchipillars, bite bugs....etc.)

Blasting Zone: This was cool, really cool. I remember killing the first Sub-Boss (the one who looks like a red lion) of Ultimacia's castle with this one. [/b]

Rinoa and Angelo's "Invincible Moon".
Without this little temporary invincibility-inducing tactic, I would never beaten many...many battles.

Now that doesn't make much sense.
I mean, a question was asked, and we as members answered in the most efficient way pertaining to he subject. Now, if the subject was "What are your thoughts on how the story was developed and connected," sure, you could expect some more thought out responses. In a topic like this, posting more than what you think is the best Limit in FFVIII is just fluff, often referred to as spam.

I don't mean any disrespect to you, Boco, and I'm sorry for going a bit off topic, but I was truly disturbed by your statement.

Yes and one-liners are not allowed in a post because that is what we call 'breaking the rules'. That is a rule of mine at this forum. People should post more than one line. It may be a simple question but I think people can make an effort and post more than one line. They could talk about more than one limit break if they wanted to or tell us some sort of story. I got a few paragraphs out of it. :-?

I don't like spam at all.

To stay on topic now: There were a few limit breaks for Squall and I didn't like it how he picked them automatically instead of you having to choose one because in an important battle he usually used one of his week limit breaks. Lionheart was the best! He rarely used it for me though which was sad. When he did use it though, it was awesome. It took a while in the final battle against Ultimecia but he did a lot of the work with that limit break! Smile
