Does any body here play board games whenever they are bored or just in the mood for one? I have always been a fan of the good old board game since I was young. One of my favourites has got to be Monopoly. My mother and I used to play that a lot but my Mum hates it because she always ends up in jail. I don't get to play it that much now. We tried playing Pictionary and Scrabble but couldn't get the hang of it so we gave up lol.
Last night we FINALLY had a game of Lord of the Rings: Trivial Pursuit. I got it last Christmas and we decided to finally play it last night. It was a long game and in the end I won. It was great fun, me and my mother were laughing too hard at some things. It was a great game in my opinion and I hope we get to have another game today.
What about everybody else? Do you play board games? Which ones do you love or hate? :D :-P

I'm not a big fan of board games, but sometimes, when I and my friend gather in ones place, we usually spent our time playing board games. There is no way that you won't have fan. Most of the times, the game we choose to play are Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Cluedo and Pictionary. I like all of them. To tell the truth, Monopoly sounds a little boring to me, nowadays, because it's so classic that it loses interest. However Cluedo and Pictionary are the most exciting. That's what I believe.
By the way, Uno may be classic but it still rocks. _________________

yer uno rocks! pictionary is kinda dull. i used to play Mine a milloin and Battleships, they were alot better im my opinoin oh and connect -a- four. Monopoly is good but theres too many spinoffs of the origional to b any fun, they killed the game. _________________

I like a lot of board games, like monopoly and Pay day....
has anyone tried AtmosFear? My dad got it for me for Christmas, and the disc in it didn't work. It really sucked because he didn't return it, and now we can't get the return, because it's been too long.
Monopoly, great classic, not many great spinoffs, but a good game itself... only spinoff that i played and liked was Canadian Monopoly.... because I am canadian. THE DOG IS AWESOME!!
D&D.... it is kinda a board game.... If I use the cheeseboard... then I am using a board .... so i guess it is kinda a board game. But more of an imagination game
I love board games, but it isn't my favorite thing to do on my free time, but it's a good thing for company _________________ I am now 2000 points away from top on Reptillia on GH3 on the PS3, currently 6th place of all PS3 Reptillia players

I'm also a big fan of monopoly, but I much prefer chess or trading card games involving a deal of strategy. I also hold a bit of love for gambling and games such as poker and yahtzee with others among my favourite pastimes.
I also didn't mind the board game Cluedo. It was a good game, a few years back before we lost several pieces, to raise suspicions amongst our group and I remember many an afternoon of random amusement. And the dramatics of some people were also highly entertaining.
