Did you realize that Faris was a girl before it was even announced in the game? Or were you one of those people that had no idea and only figured it out after it was said? Some people claim that they figured it out straight away because of certain hints or just by the color of her hair.

I haven't played the game for a couple of years now and I never even completed it but I did get past that part but I think I was a bit slow when it came to Faris! I suppose the hair color should have made it pretty obvious but then again that's not always the case! There were probably hints to what gender she was but I suppose I never picked them up.. if I did, I don't remember because it has been to long. I know I was pretty surprised when the gang found out anyway.. so were they. Lol1

Anyway, what about you guys? Did you figure it out before me? :-P

I was surprised to see Bartz, Galuf and Lenna treating Faris as a girl. I thought that she was looking much like a girl and eventhough she tried to act like a guy it wasn't hard to tell she was just pretending. That is my opinion at least. However, I somehow knew that Faris was a girl even before getting my hands on Final Fantasy V because of some search I did. Then when I started playing Final Fantasy V I thought that I had been fooled since seeing the rest of the characters treating her as a man confused me a bit.

Well as for me, I wasa kinda confused, cause you can step into the room where Faris is sleeping, and when lovestruck Galuf and Bartz come flying outta the room, you're thinking in your head, what is happening? Is Faris a girl? or are Galuf and Bartz gay? well..... we discover that, no, Galuf and Bartz are not gay.... just attracted by a sleeping woman.... so that was what confused me. I kinda thought Faris looked female on the beginning, and throughout certain parts of FFV's beginning, but, I only had a maybe thought about it till it was announced
