Final Fantasy IV is a cool game with a nice storyline and an awesome cast of characters, who would be your favorite character overall?

Cecil - A dark knight who was captain of the Red Wings. He is the main character of the game. he ends up being fired from being the captain and that is where thew story begins..

Kain - Cecil's friend, he is the leader of the Dragon Knights. Even though Cecil and Kain are good friends, there is a bit of rivalry between the both of them.

Rydia - She is a summoner with a lot of magical power. You first meet her when you accidentally burn her village and kill her mother. She is a brave young woman.

Rosa - She is good friends with Cecil and Kain. She is considered to be a White Mage because of the power she has. She is also quite a talented archer.

Tellah - He was a famous Sage, he appears to be very intelligent but is very short tempered at times. He is the oldest playable character in the game.

Prince Edward - He is the prince of Damcyan, he has a lot of interest in music. His skills include Hide, Sing and Medicine. His singing can cause status affects to the enemies.

Yang Fang Leiden - He is the High monk of Fabul. He is a very powerful man and he trained very hard to get to where he was.

Palom or Porom - These twins are very helpful in the game. Palom is the immature one while his twin sister is very calm and mature about things. Between the two, they both know black and white magic.

Cid - He is the Chief engineer of Baron. Cid was the one who invented the airship.

Edge - He is the prince of Eblan. He is a confident young man and is also a very powerful ninja. He is very kind and is very helpful.

FuSoYa - He is a resident of the moon and is also the most intelligent character in the game. He knows almost everything about what Cecil and the group want to know.

I think that's everyone. Hopefully I didn't miss anyone this time. Blush

As for my favorite character, I would probably have to say Cecil. He is the main character after all, I found him to be very brave and a very awesome character over all. He was also very powerful which was great.

My favourite character was Cecil. I liked him both as a Dark Knight and as a Paladin.

As a Dark Knight he could use Dark. A good ability, damaging all the enemies, but it even strike Cecil. Also, as a Bark Knight he had a really cool appearance.

As Paladin, he had many HP and also, he had that ability, Cover, that protected the party memebers when they had low HP. He could also use powerful weapons, like Excalibur, and he could also use White Magic, which was always useful.

Rydia, was my second favourite character in FFIV. She was both a Black Mage and a Summoner. Also, when she was young, in the beggining of the game, she could also use White Magic. I liked her, eventhough, her HP weren't enough, and she wasn't strong.

My favorite Final Fantasy IV character is none other than Kain Highwind. He is a great Dragoon. He is a friend of Cecil Harvey.

i would say that Edge would be the charater i like the best. i have always liked ninja's and Edge is a strong fighter. he can use ninja magic that i found helpful.

second would be Porom the white mage twin. she can use white magic and i trained the twins up a lot when i had them.

Cecil, great char, his White magic kinda sucks, but he completely owns when it comes to regular attacks, he is the main tank of the game, and as a dark knight has some nice equipment and stuff. He also has a "side for the good side always" personality, kill that king, because the king is now evil, atone fr stealing the crystal by climbing up mt. Ordeals and becoming a palidan, and I kinda like the name Cecil.... but I like most of the not-so-regular names, Cecil deals the tamage and takes the damage, Edge takes the damage...... then dies, Kain is never there to take the damage, Rydia is a summoner, and black mage, which is pretty cool, but I just think of a child when I see her, because she Is a child till oyu re-meet up with her, and Rosa..... white mages are useful... but not usually a fave char. Yang.... the monk, dbl attack, but still not my favorite char, allthough with his kick and his dbl attack that sneezer (because his shout thing was ACHOO) was definately a great char. Tellah... liked him.... but he was a really dumb sage. Edward... had him for like an hour... then no more. I am sorry if I forgot any chars..... but that's all I can think of.

Edit: Palom and Porom. They're a little pain, didn't really like em.

cecil is my favorite character because he is a paladin and they are really cool

second would be rosa because i like white magic better then black magic because holy is white magic and that is the best spell ever

My favorite character was Rydia. She was an awesome summoner plus she could use black magic. I really liked how she changed throughout the game. She was always a pretty strong character. I also liked the cool green hair. Wink

Kain 100%. I love dragoons. Their jump ability completely annihilate everything. Plus spears are flippen awesome.
