I thought I would make a topic about this. I don't own the game as of yet but I am planning on buying it sometime soon hopefully. I can't find it anywhere except on eBay so that might be where I'll have to get it. I was just wondering if it is any good or not. I have played the rom of it, well most of it and I simply adored it but are there any differences between that and this gba version?

I have a Nintendo DS and I think you are able to play it on that so hopefully that is true!

I heard that the music and a few things were changed but I just would like to know if it's basically the same as the original game? Any information or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I just really want to get this game and just hope it hasn't been dramatically changed.

Thanks! Smile

It is a little different though mainly aesthetically... I think there are a few new surprises chucked in too, just like any other FF:advance.

It stays true to the original story and characters and it's hard pressed to point out any flaws. I'd certainly recommend getting it. It's been sitting in the gba slot of my DS for weeks or possibly months now... (My sense of chronology is whack. ) Grin

Although Australians like me may have to import. I certainly had to. I never once saw it in any stores here.

Yeah, I have not seen it any where around here either. I have been looking at stores online but no such luck. The only place I can see it is eBay but they are all second hand, I don't really want to buy any second hand games. I have no idea where to really look. I might ask EB games to see if they can get it imported but I can't imagine it being cheap at all. I would really like to get it for the Gba (since you can play it on the DS) because I love Final Fantasy VI, it's such a beautiful game!

I don't know if there is a Wal-Mart or any other stores around that sell games in Austarlia, but that is where I purchased my copy not too long ago. If I can remeber the only difference is that there are about 4 or 5 new espers. Oh, and the items are named differently. And there is a new dungeon to explore once you have completed the game.

Haha no Wal-Mart in Australia.. yet, give them some time. It's not easy to find games over here though.. some of them are quite rare. A lot of games don't seem to get released which is a bummer. They have a very small selection of games at most of the places I visit. Final Fantasy has been no where in site, I looked online at gaming sites but no such luck any where. I'll just keep asking around and hopefully something will turn up.

I figured since Wal-Mart was one of the fastest expanding companies in the world that they would at least have one in Australia. I guess your best bet would be to get on E-bay. I have scored numerous rare games there.
