The title there speaks for itself, I believe.

On pages there is a Karma Count and stuff...

Now, what exactly is this?

It's just like reputation really but without adding any comments. You just give points to a post you like and such and it adds to your overall score. You can find out how many points in total you have been given by looking on your profile usually. The overall Karma score is an average of points you are getting. Apparently my Karma is 4 so that would be my overall average. It's just a little extra I added on, I am trying to add the comment component as well which will allow members to comment on each other.

It doesn't work on all templates yet, I'll have to fix that some time.

Thanks... So.. How exactly do you give Karma? Also, do you know what templates it works on and that? Because I've just gone and tested a few and I can't seem to find one ><

It works on the original template we used for this forum which is myff_finalfantasyhaven2. I shall try and add it to the other 3 custom templates as well, I'm not the best with codes so hopefully I don't stuff anything up lol. You will find the 'Add Karma' button under the user's username and such when they post. You can't add it to yourself though lol, I know people who have tried that already. Lol1

Edit: Since the Karma may confuse other members, I will sticky this topic so that people will be able to find out about it easier.

The Karma component is just like a rating system where you can rate another member's post or just the member them self for some fun. You can give them a set of points from 1-5. If you want to know how many points you or somebody else may have, look at your profile and you will find out. It has the total, the amount of people who have given you Karma and your average of Karma given. It's quite simple really.

There is also the comment component which is just a little add on where you can add a comment for members of the forum, NO INSULTING COMMENTS ARE ALLOWED. If I see any, the person who made that comment will get a warning.. or even a banning. Please do the right thing and keep it nice.
