Yes, there are plenty to choose from. Which status ailment did you find the most annoying? There's poison, confusion, doom, sleep, petrified, silence, darkness, paralyze and so on. There are way too many to choose from. I know all of them are pretty annoying but which one do you hate the most?

For me, I really couldn't stand confusion. The character who was affected would attack their fellow party members. That happened to me a fair amount in FFX. Tidus would get confused and would often kill his party members. It's a good way to get 'game over' because they can kill themselves as well.

Petrified is very annoying as well because the character affected will shatter and they will not return to the battle. You can only use two people then. That's another thing that happened a lot in X! Evil or Very Mad

I hated when someone turned me into a Zombie, confused, or if they paralyzed my character. Once I forgot that my character was with the status ailment Zombie and I accidently used Elixir ending up killling my last character.

Oh yeah, Zombie is a good example as well. That one bothered me a lot. I remember in Final Fantasy X when I was battling against a boss and I didn't realise that my characters were Zombified lol. I tried to heal them with a high potion or something and it killed them. That was so annoying because then you had to revive them again. I hardly ever realised when they were zombified until they were dead. :-x

I hate all the status aliments >_<
It annoys me when I get blind and can't hit.
It annoys me when I get poisoned and lose HP.
It annoys me when I get silenced and can't use Magic.
It annoys me when I get petrified and lose the battle.
However, Zombie is not that bad :p Without it it's almost impossible to beat Lady Yunalesca in Final Fantasy X. After all, not many enemies zombify you.
The last time I got annoyed because of a status aliment must have been while trying to beat Plague in Final Fantasy IV Advance. That annoying fiend casts Doom on your whole party and then Haste to speed up the time. It took me many tries to finally be able to beat it.
Oh, and I felt like mentioning that the most annoying ability is Bad Breath that casts all status spells on your party.

The most anoying to me are Zombie....cause normally they put me with this status when im about to cure.....****-**.....and the death countdown....(just in ff7 cause its very fast...in the others that takes a loooooooooong time so....no prob....)

Never really had a problem with status ailments.
Oh, in the ATB Final Fantasies, Confuse was particularly annoying, due to the fact that your peeps would continue to attack retardedly, often in the middle of a difficult battle. And then, it takes another turn to hit them with a physical attack so they can snap out of it.
Petrify in FFX was pretty bad, especially in the battle with Shinryu, an Original in the Monster Arena.

id have to say the status ailment that makes me mad the most would have to be silence. Especially in ff 9 when vivi gets it because magic is basically all he does, but then u have to use that item to cure it from him (cant remember the name of it right now) and those things get annoying when u run out because argh it makes me so mad but yeah thats it the worst one to me

I hate confuse ESPECUALLY in FFX and FFVIII... In FFX because Auron, Tidus, Kimahri, Wakka and sometimes even Yuna kill my party members... even though my auron has 12k hp...
FFVIII because they waste my junctioned magic.. then my stats go down

Petrification.. i specifically hate themonsters that petrify all... except in FFXII... it's too easy to cure to be a pain at all

Zombie.... Zombie just totally sucks... seriously... i hate zombie... especially when fighting seymour #3..... yes.. I found Seymour #3 more annoying then the final battle against Seymour......... wierd Eh?... and i think the Worst FF to get status effects in... is FFX
