Does anybody else love this series as well? I only got the DVD boxed set recently and watched the whole series in a couple of days. I think it is a brilliant show. I started watching it on Adult Swim a few years ago and thought it was pretty cool. It's pretty weird at times.. no.. extremely weird but that's what makes it great!

It's a lot different to other anime, it's more about psychological problems more than anything lol. It is really interesting and does not get boring at all in my opinion. The characters are all well developed and unique. I know a lot of people hated Shinji but I found him to be a really good character. Rei was my favourite character though, she was quiet but brave. Asuka got on my nerves a fair bit but she was an alright character to. Misato made me laugh too much, she loves her beer that's for sure. Pen-Pen is really cool! I want a pet penguin too.

So what do the members here think of this series? :o

Love it! although I had to watch Death & Rebirth again as I got confused when watching The End of Evangelion. Other good titles I recomend are The Studio Ghibli Collection, Awsome story and graphics!

Haha, I was a bit confused after watching the movies as well. End of Evangelion was just plain weird, especially right near the end with Shinji and Asuka. I was surprised by what had happened and didn't quite understand it. I do understand it a lot better now though. It's just a great series and I thought they may have ended it a bit better than that.

They are making more movies though apparently which is great. I hope they get the original English voices cast because I thought they were pretty good.

Is the new platinum version better or just a shiny case that looks cool? and i still dont get why they were playing that song in 'death an rebirth', i cant remember what it was called but to me it just makes pointless sence to keep switching back.

I love Evangelion ^^

I remember watching it when I was younger, and I recently went out and bought Death and Rebirth. I quite like it.

Asuka was always my favourite character.... I love that episode with that awkward kiss with her and Shinji, her holding his nose and such XD. Cute.

Haha, there were quite a few awkward moments between those two. I can't make up my mind whether if I like Asuka or not. She annoys me a fair amount but she's pretty funny. I feel rather sorry for her later on in the series though, it's quite sad. Death and Rebirth and End of Evangelion were pretty weird in my opinion but very entertaining nonetheless.

I never knew there was a tv series.. but the new 4part movies or episodes would look great. I cant wait! evangelion rocks!! I must hav seen it 3 more times since my last post and i kinda understand it more now.

Any1 know where the tv series might b avalible to buy?

The tv series can be bought online I suppose, I had to order it at as CD/DVD store because it wasn't just available to buy anywhere else. Just browse around different stores and ask, I think there are two DVD boxed sets. I have the original one which is silver and holds about 8 DVD's or something. I'm sure you'll find it sooner or later, it is definitely worth the money anyway. Grin

eBay might be great place to look.

Most overated peice of trash ever.

One word, DEEP.

The whole Shinji screaming with his hands over his ears thing pissed me off. It ended so badly and was really confusing. Just like Cow boy Bebop, the episodes were boring! And I swear for everytime I heard...

"This cant be happening! It's impossible"

I got a dollar, I'd probably have like 14$.

Focus more on writing good battle scenes other than just machine gunning tonnes of bullets everywhere, and less on Shinji complaining about the fact that he has to save the world.
