I played the card game a lot in FFVIII and I was wondering who else did and their regular cards. Maybe there were cards that you refined somewhere specific in the game, or maybe you need help getting a specific card and hope someone can help

I played with Edea Squall Seifer Eden and Rinoa... a good combo for me... lol

I got the Edea Squall Irvine Seifer Eden Rinoa Pupu Sacred Minotaur Diablos Odin Selphie Zell Quistis Laguna Ward Bahamut Alexander Cerberus Pandemona Leviathan Carbuncle Gilgemash Siren Quetzecotl Shiva Ifrit Minimog and Angelo cards as well as every monster and boss card. I plated a lot of cards... lol, and only got one Card Queen Card

I find the card game to be pretty addictive actually. I never got all of the cards mainly because 1) it took to long and 2) some of the people are difficult to win cards off because of the rules and all. Basic rules are the best in my opinion, they make it very easy! As you go to other cities, it changes and the game is more difficult. I have always had trouble winning off of Edea and Cid. I always save before an important card game though because if I lose it, I can just reset and start again without losing that card!

I got a few of the GF and character cards but not too many overall. Some of them I missed out on since you can only get them at certain times.

Overall the card game is a fun little thing to do when you are bored and such. I like it!

There is a way of deleting unwanted rules from a region. I forget how but the strategy guide tells all. Also when you go to a new region and ask someone if they play cards, decline the offer the first time around and the unwanted rule won't get spread.

I also found the card game to be very addicting. I spent alot of time playing cards with various people throughout the world. Although, I do think the card game in FF9 was better.

I never really got the hang of the game no matter how many times I read the rules. I have played a few people kept losing and then gave up.
