I was introduced to Final Fantasy in 1995, when I was in high school.. Final Fantasy IV was my first Final Fantasy game. It was the only Final Fantasy game I ever played until late 2000.

My first FF was FFVIII. I read good things about it, so I thought I would buy it. However, I was at about 9 and RPG weren't my type of games. So, after a few years, one day that I got really bored, I just put FFVIII in my old PS, so that I would play with it again. I loved it.I couldn't get my hands off it. That's probably because I learned how to speak English (at least better than I used to speak when I was nine), so I could understand almost eveything. FFVIII, is still my favourite FF. The characters, the cities, the Junction System, the storyline, the music... everything was perfect.

I've also played FFI, II, IV, VII, X, X-2 and TA, but FFVIII owns them all.

My first Final Fantasy game was VIII as well. I was planning on getting VII because I saw a preview for it on an old demo and thought it looked pretty awesome. I went to the game store but I couldn't find it anywhere. I happened to see a lot of Final Fantasy VIII so I thought about it and decided on getting it. Mum asked me if I was sure and I said yeah, I had played the demo before so it was all good.

I was so glad I ended up buying VIII first because I truly loved it. It was very addictive from start to finish and I hardly ever got sick of playing it. The characters were wonderful, the storyline was excellent and I just loved pretty much everything about it. I still play it now, even after completing it because it's just a fantastic game in my opinion. Heart

I did not play any Final Fantasy games besides IV until late 2000. Final Fantasy V was my second Final Fantasy. My last Final Fantasy was the underrated Final Fantasy X-2.

My first was also VIII. My best friend at the time bought it and loved it so much he brought it over to my house one day. He let me play a little from his current file and watch the opening FMV. Well...I bought it the very next day. :D

I'm glad that VIII was my first, actually. I had an unbiased opinion of it so I was able to enjoy the game for what it was, not for what it wasn't. Nothing irritates me as much as people who dislike VIII simply because it wasn't VII all over again.

Hm.. I couldn't put an answer in the poll for this one.

I'd actually played FFVII, FFIV and FFVI, but I never really took to it, I must admit. They were just games I'd played and stuff..

Then my mother bought me FFX shortly after it went platinum, and I really did get hooked. I went back and replayed alot of them after that. So FFIV was first, but FFX was the beginning of my obsession.

My first FF ever was FF: Mystic Quest. This was the game that got me hooked on Final Fantasy. After Mystic Quest I then played 4 ( it was called 2 on the SNES back then). I had to have more. Not just FF but Squaresoft games in general. I then proceed to get Secret of Evermore and FF6 (again 3 on SNES).

Geez... I am going to sound like I am just copying ppls

My first FF was.... also FFVIII...... but unlike most ppls... I played it on the computer first, my mom had it and I barely understood the game.... but I loved it, in fact she got FFVIII on the computer right around the days it came out for the PC...... course that was like 7 years ago now..... and that would make me 8 at that point... so you can guess that it wasn't my first fully experienced FF game

my first Fully experienced FF game was the overrated FF, FFVII, I got it later, because i was beggin my mom for a FF game, because I had borrowed FFVIII from a rental place for over a month heehehehehe OOPS.... but I kept asking and asking for FFVIII, so my mom went up to Extra Foods with my younger brother and bought FFVII..... and I got really into it... but now I find it overrated of a FF game
