What did you like/not like about the game? What characters did you like? What characters didn't you like? Here's a thread to write your own review of the first FF on Ps2.

Overall I thought it was a great game. The characters were all unique in their own special ways. Yuna was a very brave young woman who was willing to sacrifice herself to save the world. Tidus was a Blitzball star who was very talented and was quite likeable. Wakka was a bright man with a sense of humor and a lot of courage. Lulu was an intelligent lady with a lot of magic skills. Kimahri was a quiet Ronso who was very loyal to his friends and protected them with his life. Rikku seemed to be a bubbly young lady who enjoys life.
The storyline is very entertaining and it hardly had any dull moments in it. I loved it, especially all the FMV scenes. The graphics were incredible and realistic. The soundtrack was beautiful and very catchy. I loved pretty much everything about it. It was just amazing game in my opinion. _________________

Overall i loved the game the graphics were pretty good i have to say and the cut scenes looked like hd quality they chould not have been better the storyline just sucked me in and trapped me in its hold thats how good it was the sound effects were ok(like the voices the music was wonderful) a little more time on the voices whoulda been better but who realy cares about that? the gameplay was easy and simple to get used to there was no multiplayer but of course we all no that there is a ton of gameplay hours in that game you will be playing for atleast a month getting all the ultima weapons and it had one of the best minigames ever BLITZBALL where you chould spend hours playin on it not even doin anything to do eith the story over all this game get a 9.0 _________________

well It's a Final Fantasy, that get's points on it's own. I thought there were some strengths and weaknesses
I'd say 1st voiceover FF is a definate strength. Great Graphics, great minigame, great in a lot of ways
The minigame, or blitzball was awesome, I got to play a sport, underwater, I thought blitzball, being the only source of entertainment, and me being a super-awesome pro at it, was making all of Spira love me... lol
This is one of the first times they didn't say the planet was Earth, the planet is Spira, and all goverened by the 4 maesters, of 3 different races, Ronso, Guado and human. But the Al Bhed and Hypello are also pretty cool races.
battle system was kinda boring, instead of atb, 100% turn based, kinda bored me _________________ I am now 2000 points away from top on Reptillia on GH3 on the PS3, currently 6th place of all PS3 Reptillia players

Final Fantasy X is a great game with a great level of replability.
Did it shape how I felt about Final Fantasy? Probably not. Final Fantasy made me fall in love with Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy IX kept it alive when I was dissapointed in VIII, and XII awoke me from a slumber of having played a good Final Fantasy (the gap between FF12 and X was a long and hard one.)
FFX was a succsess. It produced my favourite Final Fantasy song (To Zanarkand) and a list of solid characters. Sure, the characters might not be Top 10 All Time charcters, but they all do their part.
The storyline was simple until the later half where they deliberatley complicated what was a great plot. All this Fayth sh*t frustrated me in that I couldnt explain it to siblings or friends. Maybe some day I'll figure it out.
Gameplay is great and graphics were some of the best of the time. Complete succsess, if I were to score it on IGN, I'd give it an 9.1.
