Final Fantasy Haven

I know this game has mixed opinions on it but I want to know what you think of this game. Did you enjoy it or was it really boring for you?

I haven't completed this game yet but so far I have really enjoyed it. The storyline may not advance all that much but it's still entertaining a lot of the time. I like the main characters, Yuna is my favourite character within the Final Fantasy series! The mini games in this are pretty fun, some are a bit annoying but I haven't really had any problems with them.

I know there are three endings which is kind of weird but hopefully I can get the perfect ending. I would really like to see what happens. Either way I suppose it's all good. I also like the storyline of Shuyin and Lenne, it's really cool. :D

i thought the game as a whole was kk, bjt some bits were a bit exstream..... like why was yuna dancing uncontrolabley in the beging, and whats the deal with pain...? total squall wannabie. and i hated the %thing totally put me off compleating the game....

Yes, I know a lot of people didn't like this game very much. The percentage thing I guess is a nuisance since you have to get almost 100% to get the perfect ending. I doubt that I am going to get that because I am sort of slack with some of the mini games lol.

I don't mind Paine, she's an alright character. She does seem kind of emo to me though. She isn't as exciting as the other two but she's great in battles. She is an awesome warrior.

Compared to X it doesn't come close! It gets real boring as theres only 3 characters to play with and I just miss Wakka and Lulu e.t.c... When I'm playing it. I no in the game you meet them, but it still kinda sucks.

I love it how Lulus pregnant, though she could have at least a little bump :roll:

I like the idea of the dresspheres though, I think thats cool. I get bored of the same clothes.

As you can see, I get bored easily ! Smile

There were both pros and cons about the game.

PROS
-Brought back a much greater free roam kind of environment, FFX was worse in the fact that you had to take a particular straight path through the game.
-The new battle system was a lot of fun and added an element of timing attack in battle
-The variety of dress spheres made up for the lack of characters in the game.
-Although some people didn't like it I found that I like the new Blitzball game.
-New game plus is a cool new idea, although they should have thought of it sooner.

CONS
-The english voice acting was terrible beyond belief, I actually found myself hoping no one would walk in a see me playing such a silly game.
-The Storyline while still good, was one of the worst in the series.
-The Special Dress spheres were stupid and I actually found myself never using them as I don't want the spend half the battle getting them to happen.
-After reading a gameguide for it and seeing that if I make the slightest mistake in the game I miss out on dress spheres and mascot, I now can never play the game just for fun again, I have to make sure I get everything, In other FFs you could just go back to it later or the things you would miss were at least not as extreme.

It is still one of the best RPGs, but not the best FF

I liked the lighter atmosphere, it was a great change from the normal "everything is DOOMed" RPG atmosphere lol. Sure it was mostly fluff, but it was fun! And that's what it's supposed to be. I found X-2 to be rather cute, and coming from me, that's saying something.

And I liked Paine. Sometimes I feel like her lol, surrounded by all those happy fools. >.> Haha yeah, I'm strange.

i found it to be really cool...three chicks running around doing stuff
thats always nice
first sequel to a final fantasy..good to see that also
and there was the dress sphere...which was different but still cool
battle sequence was good...but to different

I thought 10-2 wasn't bad at all, to tell you the truth Final Fantasy 10-2 was the game that got me into RPGs in the first place. The game is even better if you get the 100% completion in the game like i did. Since I've beaten Final Fantasy 10-2 the RPGs I've completed are Final Fantasy 7, 9, 10, & 10-2 (finishing up 8 and working on 12), Star Ocean Til the End of Time, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 both with special endings, and Dothack: Rebirth.

My opinion has changed of this game in the past few months, I seem to get sick of this game very easily and don't play it for ages. It's good but some parts are really boring and the storyline doesn't seem to progress very far. I like the characters and the dresspheres but the more I play it, the less I seem to like it.

The mini games are always fun though. Smile

This is the most dissapointing FF ever created, possibly due to me being well over the average age now but I do enjoy other RPG's so that would be a lousy excuse.

I bought this a few days after launch day but I simply gave it away not more than a few days after that.

It just seemed lame, Yuna a popstar? Never expected that in a RPG... Nor do I like mission based RPG's, the battle system was fun but only 3 characters (even though they where hot) it was not enough. I didn't like the job system, nor did I fully understand it, the list goes on and on..
