What did you think of FF AC did you like it, hate it and why?

I liked it alot but in a sense of that it was entertaining, but it also didn't add much to the story of the world of VII. I felt it just is a huge action sequence. Overall it's pretty good but not too in depth. 3 out of 4 stars for me.

I really liked it, however i feel that some of the other characters should have had a bit more screen time. Also i dont like the fact that they changed Aeris name to Aerith. I know that it is the correct translation, but we all grew up with Aeris, why change it now?

I wasn't impressed. It could have been much better. There should have been more of a storyline then mostly fighting. The graphics were great but I was expecting something much more.

the movie it's self was quite gd, but the storyline was lacking and why was cat seith scottish? lol, but ye gd movie some grae fighting scenes!!

I haven't seen this film yet but I have it on layby at KMart! I didn't even know it was released here yet! I saw a copy of it on one of the shelves so I grabbed it. I can't wait to see it, hopefully I will really enjoy it. I know many people think it's great, some people would disagree though. I'll state my opinion when I finally see it! :D At least it's CGI, I don't think I would have liked it if it was live action lol.

I finally saw Advent Children yesterday and I thought it was really well made. The characters were awesome and I thought it was funny how Barret sounded like Mr. T (LOL). Cloud was an interesting character and I liked how they included Aeris as well.

There was plenty of action which made it really entertaining. A few of the characters in it looked like girls, Kadaj's gang in particular lol. They seemed really feminine to me.

I also liked how all of the characters made an appearance and helped fight. Overall, I thought it was great, very entertaining. It was better than I expected it to be lol.

It may not improve the story much (no offense but I think that's a lost cause in general) but it is a very entertaining, very fun movie. I bought it mostly out of curiosity and I was pleasantly surprised. Sure it could have been better but it also could have been much much worse.

I think Square did just fine.

They should let Sephiroth stay dead, but we all know it was a gimmick cause no one would buy an FFVII movie that didn't have him in it.

I thaught the film was excellent! 10/10 It was more than I expected and the anticipation was always high.

yeah definately..... seph was just a gimmik to make people buy the movie...... the only way for me to like seph though is actually ive hima a basic story.... that's why i hated most of the FF bad guys........ for some reason i still don't like kuja...........

i thought the movie was great..... allthough needs more story..... yeah great battle scenes.... I remember my friend came over just to watch the battle scenes..... specifically from Bahamut on..... yeah.... battle scenes......... graphics and no story pretty sums up the movie..... well it had a small story 4/5 a little more story.... yeah

yeah i know it was an awesome movie and great battle scenes i was so surprised to see it but then i watched the other unspeakable ff movie and boom i hated it so much i mean yeah we fight things woo hoo the only thing they had in there that was even close to ff was the fact that the spirits of people helpd the planet when they died and stuff or sometihng like that

i was looking through a websit that had info on the advent children. they have this story called on the way to a smile. it starts off with Denzel telling his story of what happened to him from the start of ffVII. the second part is Tifa talking about whot happened after the game. and the last part that i dont want to read i think is of Aeris. it has Jessie, Biggs and Wedge in it. the first two parts are really sad well thats what i think. if you want to read this story go to ffrebirth .com i am going now so i can read the last part l8a

Ha! My opinion of this has changed a little bit, or maybe a lot since my last post. I still like the movie but I believe it sounds a lot better in Japanese. The English audio/voices aren't very good in my opinion, the voice acting isn't great at all. The Japanese voices sound great, it makes the movie a whole lot better. It's makes me want to watch it even more. I do watch it with the English voices mostly but that's only because my computer won't give me English subtitles.. don't know why. If I watch it on a DVD player than I watch it in Japanese. Their emotions sound more realistic to me.

Yeah I find movies and TV series are a lot better when they are subtitled, and still in the original language..... cause it's so original compred to the english version..... I think that of the comparison of the english version(which I don't have) to the subtitled version (which I do have) and I liked the Subtitled version a lot more, because of originality

Completely sold out to appeal to a wider audience. Changed the appearance of every character to make them more likeable.

Cloud lost his goofy hair and was given a slick, attractive emo like look. He never smiles, always has this pretty boy serious face. It's stupid. Cloud's the wierd guy that cracks jokes and says things like "Let's get mosey". Can you picture Cloud saying that in AC? His swords are stupid, his dialogue is lame. Bad movie.

Reno, the 30+ year old Turk Leader was turned into a punk.....

This movie has made me feel different about FF7. FF7 is my favourite game, but the fact that every second avatar I see is a stupid serious face of AC Cloud just drives me insane. Those avatars are making me hate Cloud, a top tenner of mine.

I didn't think it was bad. Cloud's hair looks fine to me in my opinion, it might not be as whacky looking as in the game but it's very realistic. I think most of the characters looks alright, Barret reminds me of a rapper in the movie haha and sounds a lot like Mr. T.

I had no problems with any of the characters, except maybe Cait Sith... a Scottish accent? O.o

The movie was really interesting to me. The graphics looked great, the effects were cool, and the voice acting was good. The story was interesting as a spin off from FFVII, but like some people said, didn't really do much to add to the actual story. Crisis core and such actually did something to explain more about the game's original back story.

The movie was good and there were some deep scenes in it that I loved. The little parts with Aerith were exciting. In the end though, the whole thing had no point but to finally show that Cloud moved on and stopped blaming himself for things. That was all in the ending, so the rest of the movie felt like a really pretty fight scene. That ending was the only useful part to the general story, but the rest was fun to watch.

HIS HAIR LOOKS BETTER!!!! I FINALLY GET TO SEE HIS BEAUTIFUL HAIR THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO LOOK!!
