Cait SithWas Cait Sith an important enough character?
Or was he just in the game for no other purpose than plot?
I mean, he wasn't even all that powerful, and he was indeed a 'puppet'.
So what was his purpose being involved in the party, when quite honestly, most people don't really think he belongs at all?

he does belong. he was a spy for Shin-ra and later on a spy for Avalanch. and if not for him they couldn't have gotten the black materia so yeah he was a big part of the game

what really bugs me is that they dont mention for a seccond who Cait Sith was beiing controlled by, we know by the shinra but who? dont answer, its part of my analasiys. ..or was the Sith controlling or the sevant of the controller.. mmm. interesting.. anyway, hes so fat hes got to hav som sort of other function apart from information gathering.

I disliked Cait Sith as a character and thought it would have been better without him. I really didn't think there was much to him, I thought he was only there for humor. I never played the entire game though so I can't give my full opinion about him. From what I've played, I thought of him as a boring, dull and pointless character. I never even used him in battle either because I found him to be rather weak.

i have found out who was controlling Cait Sith. dont no where i found this out but Reeves was controlling him. after Shin-ra found out they got rid of Reeves so he then became a true member of AVALANCHE. then after the game he then became the leader of the W.R.O

I beleive you find that out inside the tower when you jet jailed...... the first time, Cait Sith was Reeves,
I thought Cait Sith was actually a great addition.... but he isn't a great character........ he's basically a walking information machine, with all the information on Shinra..... if it's about Sephiroth...... he's clueless.... his story was okay... but he develops in the story.... kinda..... he was a grat addition to the game especially in battle, that high hp thing..... his natural hp along with Barret's natural HP were the highest
