How to add pictures to a postSince some people are not sure of how to add pictures onto their posts, I will explain it here as best as I can. It's not difficult at all, it's rather simple.First you need to host your picture at a site. I would suggest: http://imageshack.us/ because it's simple and you do not have to sign up to anything. Once you have hosted your picture, take the 'direct link to image'. Above the text box when you are typing out your post are many different buttons for different purposes. Find the 'Img' button and press it once. [img] should appear after you have done that. Next you will paste your link, there should be no spaces after the [img] and the link otherwise it won't work. Once you have done that, close the code by pressing 'Img' again and that should be it. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Also, you may see a link below the text box for when you are typing out a post saying 'Add image to post'. Click on that and another box will come up. Press the 'Browse' button to find your file. Once you have found it, you may add a description to your picture if you wish. After that, click upload and then the link of the image should appear in the text box. I hope that helps you out. If you still don't understand, please PM me and I will help you out some more.

Actually, it is not that difficult to understand at all. I'll explain in simpler terms.
First, as said you'll need an image-hosting site if you have something you wish to upload. While imageshack is useful since it's free, it is MUCH easier to just have an account for either imageshack of photobucket. It's free too so there isn't any hassle. Then upload the image, copy one of the links under the image (preferably the IMG tags) and paste it in the post. The most simple way to put it is...
With an easy code such as this you can also just google certain images you want and put the direct link inside the tags. It's basic HTML. As for uploading the image through the post, it's much more of a hassle because it has size limits and doesn't usually appear in full forum. This people having to click on it to another screen just to see it. |

Well yes, that's why I explained the easy way first. O.o Anyway, yes, there is Photobucket as well but I prefer Imageshack as I usually get the job done faster. I would sign up to Photobucket but I just could be bothered.  Imageshack is a great place though, it always gets the job done and there's nothing wrong with it. ^_^
