Does anybody here play any games online? There are millions out there and I enjoy playing a few here and there. I try to play free games because I don't like the idea of continuously paying for a game online. There are some great free games though in my opinion.

One of the games I love to play is Doom Online. It's just your typical old school Doom but you're playing it with other people online. It's loads of fun and you don't even have to have a fast connection to play. There are a few different types of games as well, there's FFA which stands for free for all. That's where you are on your own and have to shoot down other online players. Coop is where you are with other people and you shoot down all the monsters and demons, the level ends when someone reaches the exit. There's 1 on 1 which is rather obvious and Capture the Flag which I haven't even tried yet.

I have also played an online RPG called 'Endless Online'. I played it for quite a while and was very much addicted to it. The only thing about it is that most of the players on there are younger teens so that wasn't always good. It is a very fun game though and it took me ages to get sick of it. You can earn money to buy clothes, armor and other goodies. Even collecting items can allow you to upgrade.

have you been to addicting games.com they have some fun games and a few sad ones like kitten cannon but that game is addictive. that is the only place i play online games

well, those are flash games, good for a small anount of time, but not great for long term like some of the MMORPG's out there, Personally I have played many online games, but I have never plaed Runescape, the lowest ranking MMORPG out there... in my opinion, all leveling skills, not much of anything else, never played it but both my mom and my brother have

1. Priston Tale: a great game, now permanenently Pay to play. Pick a between morion and tempescron, each having 4 classes.

and Knight

2. Warcraft 3: ruined by DOTA, a lot of availability of created maps, just everyone is addicted by a game called DOTA, or Defence of the Ancients.

3. Diablo II: a selection of heros going out to kill Diablo or the Devil in spanish. This game Is pretty good, but has a few flaws, for example, when you don't have the expansion, your storae is small.

4. Ragnarok Online : Pay to play Permanently, many legal free private servers, all of them expect you to lose intrest quick because of super fast exp. An okay game, I don't really play it much at all anymore

5. Fairyland... weird name, weird game, still kinda fun. In fairyland your quests are fairy tale quests (like little red riding hood)... it's been over 3 years since I played this. I believe you get a pet and do the weird missions.

6. Monsters and Me Another weird name, kinda like an online final fantasy game, you make your party with people, and go out fighting with them. 2 major differences (other then online)
1. you get a pet to help you
2. you get to choose when to start the battle

and the list goes on.... I just don't feel like continuing

A friend introduced me to 'Heroia' a couple of weeks ago and I am really addicted to it. It's a wonderful game with really nice graphics, it's a free game too which makes it even better. You can choose a character like: an elf, a dark wizard, a dark lord and so on and you start off at level 1. You can visit a lot of places to level up and collect items. Once you level up to 400 then you can reset your character back to 1. You don't get any weaker, you just get stronger and stronger as you go. I have had 18 resets so far lol.

The first time you level up is pretty difficult but luckily my friend helped me out so it didn't take as long as usual. I got a friend to start playing this as well and he really enjoys it.

Unreal Tournament 2004 (awesome(!) FPS shooter)
World of Warcraft (no need to explain I think) Grin

Starcraft (10 year old RTS, still provides with much fun and online n00b-pwnage
Command & Conquer (an entire series of excellent RTS games)

Other than these I want to play SupCom online but I'm afraid my hardware isnt good enough for MP... I miss playing Baldur's Gate II in co'op mode on Gamespy, it was great and potentially more fun than any MMORPG (MMORPG's shouldn't really be called RPG's where's the roleplay?)
