What does everybody think of the revealed character for FFXIII? She looks pretty cool, she reminds me of Yuna a little bit actually. If she is the main character for sure, I think she'd make a pretty good one. She looks mighty powerful! Not much is known about her in this point of time but hopefully we'll know a lot more soon. I know I've heard stuff on other forums about her name being 'Lightning'. That is an interesting name but I find it to be unoriginal lol. Anyway, what do you guys think of her?

Well I don't think Lighting will stand for a female character...neither do I think it will be a secondary character, for me it would be great that a female character stands again for the role of being the main character, since FFVI there isn't any female character who took the lead role...

Square officially confirmed that she(Lightning?) will definitely not be the main character in FFXIII, per various internet sources.

She definitely knows how to clear a room though, Bruce Lee style, not William Hung style. :-P

yeah....first time i saw the trailer.... it was on youtube in poor quiality.... so i haven't seen a good quiality trailer for it..... but.... I thought her figting style more reimnded me of tifa's limit break.......well... thet's jus my oppinio.and then it looks like she pulls out a gunblade........ i'd lovi it if they put in another ame with a gunblade...... but im doubting it's gonna happen

actually, is really a gunblade, but just a different style...this one chages its form....or at least thats wt i understood....
(oh and shes sexy XD....just hope she has a personnality like Tidus or something like that...it would rock....althought her style looks more like Tifa...but still...

yeah speaking of chars, I found a pic of another new char, well, they released him a while ago, but anyways

they don't have a name, there is only 3 peices of info, strange fighting style, 33cm feet, and he rides a moterbike, it even says they don't know if he is good or evil

Though she has forgotten her real name, she is known by the codename "The Lightning". Square-Enix announced she probably wasn't the main character of FFXIII in an interview with the developers in Gemaga magazine unlike the impression the trailer gave. With energetic ariel, physical and magical attacks she is a formidable fighter and a valuable force to have control of. During the E3 2006 trailer she was attacking enemy soldiers but it isn't clear whether they were allied with Pulse or Cocoon.
