Let's dedicate a thread to our purple octopus friend ULTROS! He was always up to no good, trying to destroy the Opera and always showing up to ruin the moment! He even gave us a little bit of comedy relief!

Lucky enough for him he gets a job at the Arena where he seems to be happy. When he came in for a fight, he wasn't always easy. Some of his attacks were quite powerful and nearly wiped out one of my characters. :-P

I thought he was a great character and I believe he deserves a bit of a tribute thread. Let's talk Ultros! What do you think of Relm's Uncle Ulty?

Well he was a pain, but nonetheless he was a very formable foe. Relms uncle ultty is one crazy octopus. Fear his tentacle power

He's quite a character actually. I thought he was alright in the begining cause he was a good challenge for me to face. but after the 930452 time fighting him I felt a bit bored, like "Yeaaaah I've done this before..." TO me he just kinda got old, though in the begining he was amusing cause he seemed so deterimined to do what he had to do.

Ultros, probably one of the stupidest, persistant and annoying bad guys in the history of Final Fantasy. When I was playing FF6 the first time this is the first boss that I found quite challenging until I worked out not to attack him with certain attacks. I'm quite surprised by how popular this character is as I once saw a fanfiction someone made which was a FF6 survivor and the strange thing is that Ultros won, over Locke who came second. I personally hate this character mainly because I used to find the raft fight so frustrating, then whenever Ultros showed up again, I got angry and showed him no mercy.
