What did you think of the ending? *Spoilers!*As the title says, what did you think of the ending of Final Fantasy X? Was it surprising for you or did you expect it to happen? Did you like the ending or did you think it was really disappointing?
I loved the ending. It was my favorite ending from any FF game ever! I found it to be really emotional! Yes, I did shed a tear as I watched Tidus disappear into thin air. It would have been really difficult for Yuna to handle because this was the man she was in love with. He was the person who she could be silly with and laugh with.
It was even worse because Tidus didn't even tell them he was going until that final moment. I felt really sorry for Yuna and also the others who were all good friends with him! :(
I am a fan of sad endings! Happy endings aren't my thing. There are too many happy endings in games and movies so they need to start making more tragic endings! :pwnd:

I think it was all too sad. I was crying. I didn't want Tidus to be gone, I was even more disappointed at the ending of ffx-2

I'm with Lady Luck, sad endings are my thing...I thought it was a perfect ending to a (near) perfect game. It's amazing how emotionally attached people can get to their characters in the Final Fantasy games, the developers do an amazing job making them seem real, so in Tidus and Yuna's case, it was hard to see them split apart, but, in that sense, it's amazing that we can feel such emotion for characters in a game. Then again, that's just my opinion, and as stated before, i'm a fan of sad endings...

i just couldnt believe it when i ended the game.....the first game i ever cried in the end....(in mgs3 i was almost crying...but i didnt...)......and as tragedy_called_love i love sad endings too....they are just.....different...the other ones are predictable....and that has no fun at all....

Tripple posting was unnecesary. Don't get nervous or anything, it's not a warning, just a simple comment to help you.
Getting back to topic, yes I liked the ending but it was too dramatic for me. ;)

Triple Posting is when you post three times in a row without waiting for any reply from another member. If you want to add something you forgot on a previous post, you can use the Edit option.
Also remember to write [EDITED] to any post in which you've changed something.
Ok, best of luck, enjoy the forums and let's together create the best forum for FF Gamers ever.
Ohh and sorry, it was triple, not tripple, my bad, a small mistake.
Enjoy the Forums!!!!!

TidusMMM, could I please ask that you not post one liners. That is considered as spam and it's breaking the rules. I don't want to issue a warning to you so please try to add more contents to your posts in future. Thank you.
The only time I will allow one liners is in the trivia threads AND the spam thread.
I still find the ending to be sad, even after watching it several times! It's my favourite ending by far and I believe it is perfect. I wish in a way that they didn't make FFX-2 because it pretty much spoiled that ending for me which is a real big shame. :(

I never really liked that much FFX, I mean the end CG was good and full of graphics, but what about the voice actors, the storyline and other stuff?
Well for me, I hated those voices(yeah, specially Wakka & Tidus) about the storyline I only liked the fact that FFX occurred before FFVII (like 400 years before) I remember some scene that a guy found some Mako in the calm lands, and he started the dream of the reactors and midgar. Anyways, I think the final scenes were ok, but not 'fantastic' as you said Aerith :P

It was an OK ending.
I mean, you could see it coming. Kinda sucked what happened to Auron is all I gotta say. Could've used him in FFX-2. :P
Also, I guess I didn't like it so much because the final bosses were so easy. Braska's Final Aeon was a badass design, but I easily toppled him. And Yu Yevon? That was a joke. Just needed to cast Zombie on him and he would keep damaging himself 9999. Haha.

I see no triple posting in this thread. It either never existed or it was edited.
Anyway, TidusMMM, this: | Quote: | | TidusMMM: sorry....but....wts tripple posting???never heard of it... | is not a quality post and it's pure spam. Avoid that if you don't want to get banned.
Finally, if I see more off-topic posts on this thread I'll have to close it.
And if anyone replies to this post it will be considered off-topic and you probably know what happens.

I dont know if there was an alternate ending for this one but I thaught it was fine, It wasnt the greatest of endings. It was a bid sad and depressing.
Edited by Boco: Geez, add more content to your posts. One liners are not allowed.

to be honest, I didn't cry, but came kinda close to it, so I decided to vote for the cried answer. It was totally sad, ... grr I wish there was a way to put the spoiler in, anyways, I thought what happened was very sad, I was personally expecting it to happen, but in my head was trying to refuse the game, was just hoping in some way it wouldn't happen... but it did anyways

Well if you understand the story from the start and while you continue playing, you should know that Tidus and Yuna weren't meant to be together. That's why I didn't cry since I already knew that, after Jecht's defeat and Yu-Yevon's destruction, Tidus and everything that was sustained by the Dream of the Fayth and Yu-Yevon would eventually disappear.
Yes, a quite sad ending....though I prefer sad endings than the typical "Happily Ever After"...

Lol I agree with you there. Happy endings are usually very clichéd and just get boring to see after a while. Final Fantasy X had a sad and happy ending at the same time. Tidus was gone but Spira was peaceful once again, it was an original idea. Sad endings are good! I like to see them lol, they always seem to make me cry. :(
FFX ending = Awesomeness!
I still love watching it whenever I finish that final battle.

I liked it. Poor Tidus and Yuna have to get seperated and Tidus doesn't even get to exist anymore. It was such a touching moment!
Me likes the corny junks that other peoples think is stupids.

I cried alot, definitely. For days, actually.
I got very attatched to the characters in this game and found it hard to even eat or talk directly after completing the game. This would have to be the most I've cried watching any Movie, Television show or Game.
As for the actual ending, I thought it was brilliant. It was well done, a lovely rendered and created scene.

I thought it was alright. It was sad but I thought it was gonna happen the way it did anyway. Like Aerith said it is good to see a sad ending once in a while.
