There were a few different races in Final Fantasy X overall.

First of all there was the human. Pretty basic really!

Then there was the Al Bhed, they are quite vicious when they want to be! They are viewed to be suspicious by the Yevonite because of their use of machina which is forbidden in Spira. The Al Bhed are the only group in the whole of Spira who oppose the teachings of Yevon. They are hated by a lot of people because of the way they are, because of their beliefs.

The Ronso's are tall, blue lion beings who are very brave and are loyal creatures. They seem to keep to themselves up on Mt. Gagazet. They are very powerful and can anger very easily. A male Ronso has a sharp horn which is a sign of pride. To lose this horn is considered to be shameful.

The Guado, they are quite a bizarre race but are also a race of humanoids. Their appearance is quite different from a human, they have wild looking hair with long limbs and fingers. They are not well liked by Spira because of their alliance with Seymour.

Hypello are an amphibious creature which has blue skin and has slurred speech when they talk. This race is found to live around Moonflow and are normally shoopuf captains who ferry them across the river for people.

i'm not sure, the ronso are cool and ace when fighting, but slackin general, the humans, are stupid all they do is follow blindly peoples opinions, the al-bed, they were kk, but bit hostal, the guado are just a bunch of reklus control freaks, hypellos are cool, but they need to practice ther speach a bit, and stop paniking. lol

I choose Al Bhed.Probably because they are a very mysterious and different race.I also like Rikku's overdrive mix and how she is a thief,hehe.

hmm. that was a hard one for me. i loved the al behd simply because of their overall culture.( they got my vote in the end) but otherwize guado, because of their unusual looks...and i LIKED them for their alliance with Lord Seymour, not the other way around. they are very loyal. stuck by their leader even through all of his flaws...poor seymour... :cry:

I suppose I shall state my own opinion as well! For my favourite race in this game, I would have to choose the Ronso. They were very interesting creatures and were very loyal. Look at Kimahri, he was very loyal to Yuna and looked after her like she was his own daughter! They act brave and appear to have no emotions what so ever. They are kind hearted at times and I just think they have an awesome appearance and seem to be very intelligent as well.

My favourite race were the Al Bheds. They just seemed more cheerful than the rest of the people who lived in Spira. Also, they were the ones who used Machina and stuff, so they weren't like backwater islanders. Moreover they were all thin and blond, that made them really cool and always buetiful.

Simple humans were just too "meh". They seemed clueless and depressed.

I didn't like the Ronsos and the Guados, at all. They just seemed way too weird, and also, the Ronsos were even more weird than the Guados. They way they used to speak, and their actions made me think that they suck a bit :shock:

As for the Hypellos, we don't know much. They all seemed nice and a bit funny creatures, always ready to help you when you needed them.

To sum up, I vote for the Al Bheds.

I had to vote for the Hypellos just for the legendary, "Ride the Shoopuf?" "Shoopufs waiting"

It makes me laugh soo much. Otherwise I LOVE the al bhed. The guados just scare me so much Tromell is...well...scary!

I fell in love with the Ronso the first time I saw them, but then I had the misfortune of hearing them speak. I think Square really messed up by giving them the strong but stupid stereotype. They look like cats, they should act like cats: calm, patient, and ruthless. It really is a shame because they had so much potential to work with, but didn't.

Second would be humans, I guess. None of the races were developed all that well so to me they're all more or less the same. There's just no sense of the seperate cultures, other than seeing where they live. Very disappointing overall.

Its kinda funny that noones yet voted for the human race yet lol. I thaught you ment a running race, pondering my mind for a while i soon realized that you were talking about..well not talking but you know what i mean. anyway..what was i saying? erm o yer i voted for the Al bhed, they hav qualities that make them a better choice for either world domination or somthing elese which iv forgotten. im gunna stop writing now, its getting off topic a little.

I like all the races, but I chose the Hypello, the comic relief race, they're weird, their panic it totally weak.... I don't know the right word for it... and their voice is really.....well different,

the Al Bhed kinda annoyed me, but not like the Guado. Al Bhed was fun to find all the primers for(which ai am still doing) and well, they were a bunch of cheaters... especially in blitzball.... and I hate cheating, I don't even like to cheat on video games..... I domn't count walkthroughs as cheating, because I use them for sidequests only... lol

Ronso big, Ronso tough, Ronso need learn good grammer... Ronso not use many small words like the. Ronso are kinda fun to joke about, their grammer that is, but In reality, the only Ronsos I didn't like were Biran, Yenke, and some of the FFX-2 ronsos, the FFX-2 ronsos wanted to kill the poor Guado. The hopeless guado. anyways.. this is a FFX topic, not FFX-2. well, I like the ronso, easy to beat in Blitzball, and an overall awesome race, I'd love to be a Ronso.

Guado...... I didn't like them in FFX, just FFX-2..... they were a bunch of jerks in FFX....

Humans...... well this one I cannot really talk about.... we all know what a human is

wow, I thought I loved Final Fantasy, I don't even play the game into that detail........ well, I play Final Fantasy into detail, but I don't memerise languages, or anything that close, but I do remember quite a lot of names in the Final Fantasy series, no thank you, I don't really want to learn Al Bhed that bad.... It's kinda weird that you do....... well... I AM STILL THE FINAL FANTASY FREAK...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that you guys have missed the topic. The question is which race do you prefer, not if you can speak Al-Bhed. The last three posts are completely out of the topic. So, if spam continues I will have to close this topic. Also, gayteen, you just got you first warning for two spammy posts, and phyrelizard, no matter if you were a mod in the past, if you continue spamming I will have nothing more to do than warning you, too. So, I'm just going to let Ashe know and keep an eye on you two.

The Ronsos I thought were the coolest, because they were the most unique, and are pretty hard to associate with humans.

Plus they can blitz, while Hypellos, well technically they could, but they're too scared. Laughing

1) The Guado. I loved how they were just that bit mysterious, and a little more outcast. The keepers of the Farplane, also. I love that place. We didn't know as much about the Guado as we did about some other races, but I still really like them. Everything about them, really. Their look, their language, their ways. I also found them to be very loyal, protecting their leader at all costs.

2) The Al Bhed. Bit of a love affair with them ><. The more upbeat of the races, and probably one of the best looking, among other things. The masters of machina, also. I like how they stood up against Yevon and tried to prove that their own methods were just as affective as those of the Yevonite society. Also... Rikku. *drool* XD

The Guado were quite mysterious, I agree with you there VD. They made the game just a little more interesting. I found their lifestyle to be intriguing, it was quite different to all the others plus they lived in such a nice place. I thought it looked great there. They had a weird look to them but that's what made them cool!

Guados were interesting. Not only was the Villain a Guado (Half), but they're such an interesting race. They're sort of a play off Elves, or maybe they look more like two legged centaurs. I just thought that their appearance, homeland and name were great.
