Who is your favorite Guardian Force?There are quite a few to choose from. The Guardian Force were a very helpful summon in Final Fantasy VIII. I used them a fair amount because of their strength. They were very handy during a lot of boss battles, only until your characters became strong. Who would you choose as your favourite and why?

I would have to say my favorite would be either Shiva or Bahamut. Shiva had an awesome appearance and a great attack where she shatters ice all over the enemy. Bahamut was very powerful, the most powerful out all of the GF.

hm...i loved them all!!! but i fi had to choose........hm.....it would defanatly be diablos!! he is just so cool and collected......hm but his attack is usless at first lol,
o and hint for players, use him against tomberrys, lol

Well I'd go with Eden. I rarely would use my GF's in battle I normally just used their abilities and had them do mroe for my stats but that's it. But when I would use them Eden came in handy overall so yeah I'd say him.
Also Cactuar was funny cause of the shuffle he would do when he threw needles at people. :P

ye ionly used gf's in the first game a played, the when i repeated the game i dint use them att all. the first tiome i played my favorate was ifrite, lol. he was just soo cool!

Well, my fav GF was Leviathan. I know that it wasn't that strong and it did water damage, which means it useless against water monsters, but somehow, I liked it. Maybe because of his appearance, and the fact that it was easy for me to reach high numbers with boost. Anyway, I also like Eden, which is the strongest GF, Bahamut Cactuar and many other GFs. Also, if you can consider Boco as a GF, I liked it, too. I consider him as GF, because you can summon him in battle, with the Geesahl Greens.

Mine was Alexander. That thing looked like a giant Iron Knight Machine whose shoulder were filled with rocket launchers.
If I could choose another one it would be Ultimacia's GF, Griever.

Doomtrain was my favorite, not because of the status attacks or collecting all those annoying items, it was for his cool intro. unlike Eden that was too long to be used in a boss fight, Doomtrain had the ability to win any battle. i hated the amount of HP a GF could hav, if it were more like ffX where you could break HP limit, boss fights like the end boss would have been alot easier.

Only super useful GF effects was Diablos, I thought he was good in obtaining another GF, Tonberry, when you fight Tonberries, Diablos does 9999 points of damage every hit, that is good when obtaining the GF Tonberry becuse of all the Tonberries you have to kill. The abilities were good on all of them, Diablos was the only effective one in combat.... that's how I see it

I have to say Quezacotl. I'm not sure what it is. I've always been a sucker for lightning-types, I guess. Plus it was probably one of my most powerful when teamed with Selphie throughout the game.

Leviathan and Bahamut. I always love leviathan. I just find a huge ginormus sea serpent cool for some reason. And also how can you not like the King of Dragons?
