We all know in every single ff game there is a character named cid. Its a final fantasy trademark, I just want to know who is the most popular. Which cid is your favourtie and why???

My favorite Cid would have to be the Cid from FFIX...
I like hime becaus eyou never know what he will become next.... and because of what quina says about him when you get on the boat.... not gonna say anymore cause i can't get the spoiler or quote thing working... but i still like Cid from FFIX more then any other.... yeah.. he was that guy who was king..... but didn't seem too deserving to be king because of his past... allthough he meant well... he still sometimes didn't show it too well... ... ... well he didn't mean well in the bar... yea.. allthough... he was my favorite....

my least favorite would be either the cid from VI or the cid from VIII.... allthough the cid from VI was a good guy and all... he never really proved to be a very strong character in the story... and the FFVIII cid was like that guy who looks high up... cause he is high up on the chain.... but tries to put his responsibilities on another......

GO CID FROM FFIX....lol

My fav is the one from FF7......of course.....i guess XD
first....is the only one with a young style.......old people are boring XD......secondly is the only one (from the ones i played) that fights and third....hes style is just cool XD

(althoght i hate him in the FF7- the game XD)

My favorite Cid is Doctor Cid from FFXII. Not only it was the first time I saw the character name "Cid" used for a bad guy, but his role was highly important. His special attacks and the way he expressed himself talking about the Nethicite's power was great, by far one of the best characters of FFXII.

Well, I think I would have to say that Cid from FFVII is my favorite. He is just down right cool and very powerful. He has an awesome attitude about things as well. Want to know my least favorite as well? FFVIII's Cid, VIII is my favorite game from the series but Cid was rather annoying in my opinion. He was not a very interesting character at all! He was quite dull and didn't do very much, he made Squall do all the work instead! Lol1

Well seeming how i made this topic i guess I'll answer to. My favorite cid would be from FF 7. I just liked the way how he fit in the story and his awesome power of being the team leader when Cloud was ........um........er not himself. Also its quite enjoyable when a character thats famous (well he's famous because hes in every game even though in every game he has a different personality, age, and even alignment) but yeah over all he was a good characater in ff 7 in ff 9 he was alright too but not as good as 7

I'll be the first to mention FFX's Cid, shall I?

He's often considered a very annoying character, but I think he added something to the game. His over-protectiveness of Yuna and Rikku almost seemed comforting, in an odd way. I liked him.

Plus, imagine the last part of the game without that airship? No way I would've survived that ><. Thanks Cid!

The first Cid that always comes to mind is Cid Highwind from Final Fantasy VII. That's probably because he was playable and appeared for the longest period in a Final Fantasy. Cid in Final Fantasy IV was also playable but only for a little while till the Advance version that could be used at will.
However, it might sound weird, but the Cid I liked the most is the one in Final fantasy Tactics Advance. Quite useful in battles and probably the best looking Cid throughout the series.
