Final Fantasy Haven

I have added a bit of a quiz component to the forum, it's nothing much but I thought it would just make things more interesting. I made the first quiz last night and it consists of 10 questions about random things. It has questions about several Final Fantasy games so it might be difficult for some people. I made easy and hopefully difficult questions but some people might find it awfully easy anyway. If there are any problems with it or if the answers might be incorrect, please PM me so I can sort it out.

I have also added the Karma and Comment components to the myff_finalfantasyhaven1 template, I will add it to the other custom templates as well. I think it is set out alright so hopefully it all works alright. These have also been added to the third custom template, the one with Auron on the logo so you will have those features with that one as well.

I'm thinking of adding an affiliates table to the forum so that we can add links to other forums here and they can link to us and such, it might help with getting more members. It will probably added to our portal page (main) or the actual forum.. I think the main page would be a much better place to put it but we'll see. I am going to look at the coding for it and such either tomorrow or Tuesday. Then once that's done, we can find forums to trade links with and such. Smile

Edit: I have added an affiliates bar at the bottom of the forum which still needs a bit of work but seems to be looking pretty good as well. Smile

Some of the affiliates bars are up for templates. Two of the custom FFH templates are done, I just have to do two more and I'm done. I have decided once this is done, I might be removing the Fantastic Forums section. I am going to allow people to advertise on the affiliates bar at the bottom which is more effective in my opinion. I realised that allowing people to advertise freely can be foolish because I don't think many people are advertising this site on their forum which isn't fair in my opinion. I don't want this forum to go abandoned by people. I have noticed it slowing up the last few days and am hoping people aren't just leaving. Some people have been lovely enough to return the favor of posting the link to this site on their forums so thank you so much! You're really awesome. Grin

I will be creating the new rules once I am finished with coding and all that jazz. Once that is done, I will allow members to PM me about adding their site to the affiliates bar. There is a drop down menu underneath to go to the different sites.

Oh and advertising in signatures is still fine, that doesn't bother me in the least.

A humor section has been added in the Spam forum so that people can post funny jokes, videos or sites in there instead of it all going in the word games section. They will become lost and might disappear fast since people seem to like the word games so feel free to post in there as well! Grin

Ugh, we just had some idiot join who posted a ton of porn. I have banned their IP address so hopefully it does not happen again any time soon.

If you received any PM's from a member called 'a', DELETE IT ASAP. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN IT!

I'm terribly, terribly sorry for anybody who saw the awful pictures. I hope it doesn't happen again. I deleted them as soon as I could so I'm sorry if anybody saw them by accident.

I have added a new feature to the forum where a member can be placed under moderation. This means their posts won't be visible to the rest of the forum until I allow it to be seen, this will only be used for members who give us trouble. Since we had a bit of an incident the other day, I thought it would be very useful to have this so hopefully it helps us out a bit.

Anybody who posts any material that is against the rules on more than one occasion will be put on this system until they behave properly or get banned if it becomes too serious.
