Well, congratulations. Hope you have a reasonably happy birthday. Only reasonably because I had a crap night and the day ain't looking too hot either. I wouldn't want you to enjoy yourself all that much more than me. It wouldn't be natural.

I don't much care for birthdays myself. I mean, I like getting presents and all, but I just can't stand being around all those...people...

CURSES!!!!!! America sucks!!! Why couldn't I have been born in Japan?!! They have all the cool stuff over there!!!! And the bastards keep it all to themselves!!! CURSE THEM!!!! I WANT MY DAMN HARUHI MANGA!!!!!!!

But nooooooo!!! They only have that in Japan!! And they won't give us any!!! They're hoarding it all to themselves!!!! CURSE THEM!!!!! CURSE THEM!!!!!!!!!

It's gonna be, like, next year before they release it here in America! And then it's just the first four volumes. I've heard there's gonna be like, a four month wait between each subsequent release!! Seriously, does it take that long to translate?!?! Teach me Japanese and I'll go over there and do it myself!!! Or, f*** that, teach me Japanese and i won't need it translated! I'll just import the original japanese books! Yeah! And I ain't gonna give em back!!!

I'll tell you what it is! They're still pissed about that whole nuclear bomb thing! Now they're taking out on the world by producing all this cool stuff and then keeping it for themselves!!! Giving us a little taste every now and again just to taunt us!!! They're evil I tell you!!! EVIL!!!!!! CURSE THEM!!!!!

If they don't give me my Haruhi manga, and I mean like, fast, I may have to get violent...

...I need to learn Japanese...what was the phone number for that rosetta stone thing I saw on TV? I'll just google it...

Silence! I've had a very traumatic couple of days...I may have taken it out on the Japanese cuz, you know, IT"S THEIR FAULT!!!!!

But I'm over it now...well...maybe just a little bit. It's now more of a simmering resentment than an all consuming hatred. It just irritates me how arbitrary they are about when they release stuff over here.

I mean, I'm a paying customer! You hear that Mr. Big Japanese Business Guy!?!?

PAYING CUSTOMER!!! And you know what!!?! YOUR SERVICE SUCKS!!!!

It's inexcusable that *I*, a paying customer can't buy a product they've had in Japan for like, three years! THIS IS GEOGRAPHICAL DISCREMINATION!!!! I DEMAND SATISFACTION!!!! It's not my fault I was born here! So why am I being punished with restricted access to the worlds repository of cool stuff?! Why!? Because some Japanese business man decided it would be a good idea to base his business practices on an ancient chinese treatise on war!?!? How does that even make sense!? Throw me a frickin' bone here!!!!

What did I do to deserve this!?! I've been a loyal customer of all things Japanese for years, and what do I get!?! Screwed!! SCREWED, I TELL YOU!!!!! SCREWED!!!!!!!

And I don't just speak for me! I speak for all those Haruhiists (general term for followers of the cult of Haruhi Suzumiya) out there who can't get their damn manga!! And all the other, lesser forms of otaku who pine year after year for their favorite manga or anime to be released in there home country! People who have had to subsist on half-assed fandubs that never sound right, while the people of Japan enjoy the real thing and sit laughing at us!! Mocking us!!! And not just in america! But in all the non-japanese world!! They're doing it to all of us!! THEY"RE SCREWING EVERY LAST ONE OF US!!!!!

They've got to be stopped...and I've got to stop them...

Although I am not an Anime or a Manga fan, I can see what you are saying Morik, it isn't fair that, the few animes that I watch, either have subtitles or horrible dubs

Maybe you should make something super-awesome and have the japanese translations suck sound horrible... that'll teach those japanese lol Laughing
